FAQ

1. What is the real advantage of this website?

Where do we start? First, the Yellow Pages are dead so they are not doing you any good whatsoever. Second, everyone under the age of 85 (and even some of those 85 and over) search for whatever they want or need on the web. Third, many people decide to search for something when they are driving around and for such they use their phones. Fourth, you can make people very attractive offers on your website to encourage them to try your place of business or your service. There are many more but if that is not enough then a website that looks good on any device, especially a phone, that you can manage the content of and easily present offers to attract customers may not be for you.

2. How does the monthly fee compare to the Yellow Pages?

Very favorably. First you have to decide which Yellow Page book you want to place your ad in (we receive at least three different Yellow    Page books). Now, lets say you only pick one book. We thought it better than just reciting their fees we would show you our most recent listing order form from the US-Yellow Pages.

3. How can I make changes or add pages?

We will provide easy to follow instructions that match the theme/layout appropriate to your business. The funny thing is most people never change a thing once they get their site up despite our encouraging them to do so. While you will be surprised and thrilled how easily you can make updates or add pages the odds are you won’t  however, we cannot encourage you enough to at least add posts to your blog if you elect to have one.

4. Suppose I want you to do the updates or to make changes or add pages for me, how much does it cost?

After the initial creation of your site we charge a measly $60/hr. billed in 15 minute increments.

5. If I want to add a shopping cart do you do that?

Yes, and if you have only a few sku’s or this is a stand alone store it is a simple and painless process however, there are many things that must be considered for current brick and mortar stores that wish to put their wares on line. We prefer to discuss the business needs in total before agreeing to add a shopping solution that ends up being more trouble than it is worth.

6. How can you make an offer like this?

We enjoy helping small businesses succeed. We also know most small business people have neither the time nor inclination to work on their websites (though they all insist they must be able to) so we hope that when they see the increase in business from having a well designed site they will be convinced to have us do some updating or ad creation for them. We find that once a customer sees how easy it is to work with us and what value we provide as well as the success they are having with what we suggest it provides us a well received opportunity to introduce them to our other marketing and design services.  We are looking to develop long term relationships and have found that since with a two year commitment our initial costs are just about covered there is no better marketing tool for us than this offer. We are also very good at what we do.

7. What about tying it into Facebook, Twitter, etc?

While we are not fans of social media they are a necessary evil and if used properly can be very powerful tools for small business. We will link your site to any social media site you wish and we encourage you to request our FREE ReportHow to Get People to Your Website and Into Your Business, which lays out a plan for using social media to attract customers.
